Terra Nova is an example of a brand new Science Fiction show that has recently come out in the United States. The show is about a world where the environment is slowly disintegrating and everything in the biosphere is slowly dying and falling away. The “Terra Nova” is a particular new settlement that is being established to give humanity its last hope of survival. The twist is that the settlement Terra Nova is being established in the distance past- about 85 million years ago. There are many dinosaurs in the show that roam about, such as leaf eaters or some new kind of dinosaurs that have never been seen before.The whole story can be found at http://vgamer101.wordpress.com/2011/09/26/terra-nova/ This is because the show takes place, according to narration said int he very beginning, in a different time-line from our own. this means that many details about the past could be quite different than they were in our timeline, for example.

The show follows a new family that made the mistake of having a third child when the rules in their civilization in the future was that each family could only have two children. This gets them in trouble and makes it so the father ends up in prison and has to break out before taking his family back tot he past.
